NING can IP ban. I know of someone who was banned from NING, so. . .it's possible.

MX cannot IP ban, directly. So. . . .unless you do something absolutely horrible, you shouldn't screw up other accounts.

I had a similar freak out. Instead of banning or warning me she just told me she was deleting my post because she didn't want anything further said on the mods issue and to PM her in future.
