Technically a marriage wouldn't be illegal. . . it'd just involve paperwork
@H20 We're all 2yrs older, she said, but. . . . .I dunno, the job thing doesn't line up in my mind, then. . . Too, I'd still be in HS, as would Fishy, so. . . .possibly more.

As far as I know it involves parental consent, and i find that would be very hard to get, knowing my dad, and with the limited knowledge of your parents, probably hard on your end too.
That's one of the only ways to get legally emancipated, too. And then your spouse is partially legally responsible for you... But certain laws still apply even when you're an "adult." Like sex laws, which'd make for weird marriages, leave it to me to know this stuff...
Not that I've ever researched emancipation or anything. >.>
*has really been looking into that recently as well*
*is leaving as soon as the Post GI bill won't benefit me*
It finally got to be enough for me to be willing to give up basketball and whatnot, should I be able to get emancipated.
*wonders why you want to get emancipated*
You have to be able to prove that you'd be better off living on your own, like present a case with abuse or neglect or lack of money or something. Or join the military. Or get hitched.
