*looks around*
I feel like no one's ever one when I'm on... Just popping in to say hey to everyone. I miss it here, but I'm just to busy to be online, even FB...
So, how is everyone?
Main Subjects:
Pre-AP Math 10
Pre-AP Science 10
Pre-AP English 10 (which actually makes me really happy, we have a tough teacher this year and he only placed about six kids for the recommendation)
Electives:
Biology 11
P.A.L 11 something like Personal Active Living
(because I need a Arts credit) Visual Arts
History 10
and French 10.
We have to have two back up electives as well, so I'm choosing Tourism 10 and either AIT 10 or Business 10.
Good-ish. We're in the process of trying to save our drama department for next year, California's budget is telling us we're pretty much getting cut down to the basics. Other than that, lafe is pretty good.
>.> Well my Science and Math teacher (whose the same person) is really easy, and Science itself is really easy so those didn't surprise me. It's really my English that I got really excited for. I'm really psyched to know who else is in recommended for it as well, since none of my friends got in.
Yep, it sounded really awesome. It helps you try to attract people into your country/province/territory and has lots of field trips and projects.
Fundraise? That always helps. Or demand some other department cuts back a bit, if you haven't over done your budget I'm sure it's logical.
XD, I got recommended for the advanced classes, my freshmen year, some of them. But, that's awesome, the advanced classes (in my opinion) are easier in the long run...
That sounds awesome! *secretly wants to take that class now*
We self-fund everything we can, but the district has to pay our teachers salary (which isn't much since he only teaches three classes). At this point they're pretty sure they're cutting almost everything except for the basic History, math, science, english. Damn California wants us to cut like 5 million dollars out of the budget.
Did you take them? I'm scared I won't have as much time. Because we have summer reading packages which sound less than delightful, I swear if I have to read more than three Shakespeare books I may kill myself. Ye Olde English is not my thing. Unless it's trippy.
XD -Wishes you could have it-
O.o We have so many extra elective classes, what's up with your school? And we're not even the biggest Province. Heck, we're one of the crappier schools in town...
