*loves Shakespeare* Actually, yeah, when your in the advanced classes, there's a lot of work, but a lot less busy-work. I've had pretty good grades all this time, last year my GPA dipped under 3.5 But other than that I think that the advanced classes aren't so bad (plus they give you extra GPA points).
*will sneak to your school and take it*
We're a public school in California. Not only have we been dealing with major budget cuts for the past 8 or so years, but we're the only state in the US that hasn't hit the bottom of the economic pit yet. Everyone else is starting to come out of it, but we've still got a long time to go...
I don't even think we have GPA's here... It's how much percent you have in each class and depending on how high you score you're open to scholarships and stuff.
Since I've not only been doing my work, helping my friends, and practically doing all of the group projects and assignments by myself I doubt I'll have too much trouble work wise.
-Hands you address- It's in a weird spot...
O.o Wow... -Is glad Canada isn't like that yet- We've have plenty of funding lately.
Hmmmm, College applications ask for it, you must have some kind of number somewhere. But here between 3.5 and 4.0 is good, and I've been able to keep in that range for the most part.
Yeah, well not that you don't get work in advanced classes, but they just don't give you a bunch of work sheets to keep you busy and stuff. They expect you to read what your supposed to, and do projects, but it's not like you have a bunch of pointless work.
*gets her passport ready*
*nods* Well, The rest of America is in a bad spot too, but California is in worse shape because we had a lot farther to fall. Our standard of living was so high before the recession, that it just destroyed our economy.
Depending on what type of Uni or College you want to go to you have to score pretty high. We don't need to take SATs unless we want to go to an American school though.
Ah, poor Cali. How will the naive girls who think they can make it big as actresses work now?!
