Oh, whoa, okay. o.o *was expecting different* Oh. Just spotted it: in #3 second stanza "the" should be "they".

Eh... I'm a sap, but besides "Left Behind" I like #3.
*confused* Why? Oh shoot! Stupid spell/grammar check

^.^ Me too... That's the one I just wrote. Inspired by a couple I saw in the airport in May.
I'm used to strict guidelines for competitions XD

It's cute :3 I am easily distracted by fluff, but it's also a good poem in its own right.
Hmmm, I dunno, this contest is really open, but really small. Like they send the letter to like 400 people and it's only for junior and sophomore girls...

^.^ That's why I like it too...I like fluff. I dunno. I'm not crazy about the chopy-ness of the structure. but the idea I like. That was the cutest thing I've ever seen. I love airports...
Ah.

>.> I thought the structure worked pretty well. For all that I like violence and bad puns, I still love fluff. Oh well.
*shrug*

Mmmm, I dunno, it feels... abrupt. XD I know right. I love watching movies like Gremlins, where furry creatures kill people, and then I go and write cute poetry and enjoy couples in the airport.
I liked the structure -- it just... works. I dunno. I sometimes plan my nights around if Commando is on TV. Aaaand then my fic long ago decided fuck plot we've got fluff.
Hmmm, how about this? Broken up is it better, or worse?

Love

The airport is alive with activity,
People hastening,
Pushing,
Rushing,
She swims against the sea of people,
Fighting her way through,
Eyes ever scanning,
For a sight she’s waited so long to see,
Too long.

And then,
A wave of recognition washes over her face,
And there he is,
Their eyes meet,
And for a moment,
Nothing else matters,
Nothing but him.

Suddenly time has begun again,
And she urgently fights her way through the bodies,
Her eyes never leaving his face,
As if now that she has found it,
She will never let it go.

The moment she reaches him,
They embrace,
For what seems like an eternity,
It is a moment so simple,
Beautiful,
Intimate,
Perfect,

Then, they break apart,
And head for the doors,
Hand in hand,
Home together,
Home again.

*snort* I know right? I do the same, watch a romantic comedy and then some low budget slasher film all in the same night.
I liked it better the other way, with just two stanzas. It's like... stanza about separation, stanza about being together.

Cheesy action movies. Stop. Everything v.v
I hadn't thought of it like that, but yeah...

Omigosh! Especially from the 80s and 90s when the special effects sucked!
Despite appearances I sometimes think about Serious Literary Things. When I'm not writing gay porn.

I have no idea when Commando was made, but oh God... you've probably gathered, it's one of my favorite movies :D Terrible effects, horrible puns.
*giggles* XD I know you think of other things sometimes.

I'm pretty sure it was late 80s... yeah, good shit, I love movies.
