A Patriot's History of the United States by someone else.
People's History comes recommended to me by good folks, and I believe it's more of an untraditional view of history than a superconservative view.
Other one I dunno.
I love the lady with dark hair who works at the front desk of where we're living at.
She basically gave us a HUGE discount on our rent. The monthly rate is like $700 but she was super nice and calculated the amount we spent THE ENTIRE YEAR, converted it to the monthly rate (sometimes we paid for like week), used the extra money for this month's rent, and then we only had to pay $50 for this month. Which is really effing nice because we have like no money.
I hope she has cats. This way we can give her Meow Mix.
In American Lit. on Friday, we spend an entire hour over-analyzing "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey.
There is no expression indignant rage that can match my feelings on the matter. Needless to say, I was fucking mad.
Being reminded that yes, once upon a time, I did in fact wear make-up to school, I did straighten my hair, and I did spend sometimes nearly half an hour perfecting it.
