I was wandering through Wikipedia and found a book I'd been seeking for years.

My vague memories literally only included the protagonist's best friend being described as looking like a wet cat, and a reference to oleander.

I was quite the fan of her when I was younger. The Egypt Game was one of my favorite novels. The Witches of Worm was a great novel, too. Also: The Headless Cupid. But The Egypt Game was definitely the best.

I got a freaking Death Note for Christmas, with all of the names Light put in it, English and Japanese. 

It has ALL of the rules regarding the note. :DDDD

I also got six Death note action figure-display things that are really tiny and detailed, the two newest volumes of Vampire Knight, the LEGO Harry Potter video game years 5-7, the LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean video game, an Evanescence concert ticket, and a Zune with 32GB of memory. 

I was not expecting a large Christmas this year, and holy shit this is huge. o.o

Got an Eeyore doll, a necklace, and Mickey Mouse cup, along with a few assorted gifts from friends. 

I can tell pretty much no thought went into my gifts (my step mom and dad just bought them from the Disney store with me and then told me to take it home XD) but that's alright I guess. They did try, sort of. I guess, I"m just impossible to buy for. :P

I got Good Omens and a Macbook for Christmas. :DD

I got other things too, like all the seasons of Friends and a Doctor Who scarf and a Bamboo Tablet and Pokemon Yellow, Red, and Blue and four others and iTunes giftcards and the discovery that my Nana has no fashion sense, but yeah. Christmas has been awesome, man. Awesome. Like...probably the best one ever. Maybe. Wish I was with my mom, though. I like her side of the family's get-together more.

Also I went to the Harry Potter theme park on Thursday--that was awesome. Butterbeer tastes like cream soda and it was crowded as hell. :D
