The fun continues! I try to narrow down Max's exact position:

Also, how many of you are old enough to remember Carmen Sandiego?

O.O
Guess who the new Prom Queen of Greenwood High is?
:DDD

I'm still in shock.

Congrats!

Thanks! :D

:D Good job! Your dress is lovely by the way. Fantastic job on it.

Found a little bag filled with over $600+ with my friend today. Immediately went to the school's police officer and gave it to him so he could contact the owner.

I don't understand how anyone could possibly take that. I thought about how it could belong to a man who is retiring or a family who desperately needed it, and I couldn't even fathom another thought than "holy shit where the hell do I go to get this to who it belongs to?"

I'm cheap, I love money, but it just feels so ridiculously wrong that I couldn't do it. Ha, I guess next time someone asks me "what are you going to do if you found a thousand dollars?" I can't say that I'd keep it and save it in the bank...

I was just told off for this. I really can't fucking believe this. Yes, we have money issues. Yes, you just had a huge fight about it this morning.

But holy motherfucking shit.

Clearly, being morally "good" in my opinion, doesn't mean shit to you. Thanks for being so god damn proud of me. You know what? This is probably why all your kids are fucked up, myself included. Good motherfucking job.

Good for you.

And your family got mad at you for not keeping it?

I'm sorry, but stealing is not the right way to go about dealing with financial issues. Just no.

No one carries 600 bucks around with them in a bag, and I come from an area of upper-middle class white people who have that kind of money. You keep retirement money in a bank.

I'm thinking it's drug money. If you'd kept it, I think you and your family would probably be in serious danger. Handing it to the police was the right thing to do.

@End: Actually, the police officer specifically told us that it didn't look suspicious to him. Said something about how it looked like it was going to be a deposit to the bank or something (old people are crazy and it WAS by the mental hospital...). Or he could have said it to calm the nerves down of my friend who looked like she was going to crap herself. There were credit cards in there, plus an ID.

@Contra: Yep. For a good twenty minutes. They apologized this morning, but I'm still a little peeved about it.  And thank you.

My grandmother stashed a couple thousand under a shelf in the bathroom.

I used to hide my money in this little zip up monkey doll. It was to ensure my family never took my money. I had roughy $1000 in there. My mom almost threw out that monkey... But it was fool proof. No one ever found my money.
