Sorry :)

Is your campus anywhere near the Marquee Theater?  I go there sometimes for concerts - that's where Lindsay Sterling was.  College seem nice, but I'm really hoping to avoid going to ASU.  No offense intended... I just want to get out of state.

It's actually really close. We passed it on the lightrail today.

No offense taken. ASU has an awful reputation and it's an accurate one. Not everyone parties, but just about. My roommate, suitemates, and myself are some of the few who don't. I mean, it's a good school, but it doesn't have a good name for itself. Sometimes I wish I would've gone out of state, but I know ASU was the right choice for me.

Also, the Make-A-Wish Foundation is in Mesa and I wanted to be close to it.

Hey.

Do you guys actually march?

And my goodness, you are getting so old!

Yeah, in college.  It sucks just as much as high school just you have different, ideally better, living arrangements and get to live with your friends.  Pretty much still feels like one giant sleep over.  I'm at UW, so if you ever get to Washington, especially on this side of the mountains I can get there.  Been having loads of fun with my fancy-every-system-ever bus pass....>.>

Yes we do...

Ha.  I don't feel any older.

I would love to go to Washington! So jealous. Just like high school, but you have to pay for it? :)

Kinda.  At least until you get into teachers that care a bit more.....

Washington is legitimately one of the most gorgeous places in the US.  Highly recommend.

In case anyone (who's not on my Facebook) wanted to see any of my Halloween costume pictures, here are a few that I put up on deviantArt. http://nighthawk42.deviantart.com/gallery/40370749

I have yet to tell you this, but your costume looked pretty damn awesome.

Thanks! :D I spent way more time on it than was probably healthy... And damn those horns. ._.

You made that?! :o Woah. It looks freakin' awesome.

Thank you! :D Yep, I made mine and the Lady Thor costume, for the most part. Horns, winged helm, and scepter included.

The horns and scepter are the most impressive parts, in my opinion. Did you just freestyle on a sewing machine, or did you use a pattern? Or is it not sewn at all?

Some things, like the skirts, leggings, and base shirt and corset were already in our possession or bought for the costume. A lot of the rest is sewn, but a lot was onto those things I already had. I also don't own a sewing machine, so the parts that are sewn are done by hand. I've never used a pattern in my life...

For everything else (gold and silver trim and ribbons, etc)... Well, there was a whole lot of hot glue involved.

The head gear and scepter involved a few more... creative materials.
