I've been doing well; it's been an overall boring summer.
Mostly, I've been getting extra sleep and avoiding creepy neighbors xD

My mum has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

*hug* How'd she take it? How're you taking it? And most importantly, is she going to be okay? (Like, how bad/mild is it?)

She's okay and going to be okay. I'm a bit in shock - I was only told just before I posted above. It's pretty early stage, and not aggressive from what I've been told. The doctors are apparently more concerned about the cosmetic side of the surgery she's to have next week than the actual cancer. That makes me feel a bit better. I don't know if she's to have chemo yet, but I expect so.

It's kind of hard because my brother is at one end of the country, I'm at the other and the parents in the middle. I'm flying down for the weekend to see them (Dad's also going for surgery to reconstruct his shoulder in a month or two. Parents. Are. Worrying. Too Much. Of. The Time.), and my brother saw them the weekend just gone.
