It really gets hard to tell someone to shove it, too, when they're playing the minority card, and you don't want to get yourself into something. . . .you'll have a hard time getting out of.
Exactly. And, being in California, people try to be like "I'm a minority, don't hate Hispanic people!" And then I glance around the room, notice that Hispanic people majorly outweigh any other race in the room, and then I say something to that effect.

It depends on what kind of diving you wanna do! In the South Island (off the top of my head) there's not much in the way of usual 'tropical' kind of diving. I've been scallop diving in the Marlborough sounds, and Fiordland, both of which are pretty good. There are a few wrecks off the 'Sounds, and a few in Otago harbour. Also, there's freshwater diving in Hamner springs, I think, but there are all sorts of interesting pieces of paperwork to fill out for that.
