God, our school is stupid. What could be better than a getting a bunch of emotional, angry, drunk girls, who were ready to cause trouble before that, and turning them out on the street? Idiots. Also taking away the farewell assembly was a new low.

All of the Yr 12s got suspended on their last day, because one girl threw a water bomb at a media camera. So, they were all distraught, and because it was their last day everyone had vodka in water bottles, so they were drunk as well. There were girls just sobbing their eyes out.

It's a whole, avoiding bad press coverage thing. Last year one of the schools near us got national coverage because the boys got a bit out of control with their celebrations. Funnily enough, when they suspended the entire year it got even more out of control. Some people just don't learn.
