For the first few days I had it, it acted like a cliche adolescent girl screaming at me "No one understands me" whenever I tried to do something. I got the most pissed when it said "Huh? You're telling me your laptop has speakers on it?" I've got it mostly working now... except for my printer, my W7 still won't let me print word docs.
It's something up with the program, Windows 7 likes some drives and programs, but not others, so it deletes a lot in the process of installing itself. With the Word Docs it sends it to the printer que, and then it shouts "Error!" and removes itself from the que.
So yes, expect to have to update and re-download a lot after you've installed. Installation on my computer also took a good three hours, and it tooke me a good five times before it worked, so you might want to wait for a free weekend before trying to deal with the thing.
Being here again. Last night was fun.... in a way. Though I fear for the future of the world. My friend was texting somebody from Seattle. She asked me where Seattle is. I told her it was in Washington. She said "oh! We were just there in April!" I said "No, Washington State." She said "isn't Washington DC in Washington State?" she was serious. Also, she thinks WA is on the east coast.
That's. . . slightly understandable. When I was on the East Coast, every time WA State was referred to, it was 'Washington State', and DC is just 'Washington'. Now, it's habit when I'm traveling or something to say 'Washington State'.
