It's a Windows XP. I'm not sure what year, or for that matter what OS is.... I do know that I didn't have half of the programs that I needed to run it. It was very disappointing....

Yeah...There was a check thing on the website to see if it would run on my computer. I don't really remember the things I was missing, just that my mom flipped out at me because we had to find some way to return the game...

I think you only need like 512mb RAM and 1.5GHz, the GUIs should be fine....
