Well, this wasn't my first fandom; Inheritance Forums was. Proper grammar use is a rule there that is greatly enforced by the mods (The prominent members of the site become mini-mods, from what I've seen).
I don't remember what my first post there was like and the site only puts the last 10 posts in the "history" section. I remember that I was annoyed by deliberate bad grammar and really happy whenever I scored a point against the other debaters there, so I was probably not shy.
EDIT: Were you Sane or Anti at first? If you changed, why?
This wasn't my first fandom, either. And it was my third site for MR, so I recognized a good amount of people. *just. . . .shy online*
XD
I was an anti. The third book. . . I remember reading that in the car, for the first time, actually. It really, really, ticked me off. So, I already had a disliking for the books going onto MX. The fourth. . . well, pretty much everyone disliked that unless they were a huge fax fan/squee.
I'm shy real-life, and I don't stop posting here. It's strange.
Do you prefer 'anti' or 'Anti?'
I'm sorry if the amount of questions is bothering you. I'm curious.
Yeah. I dislike 4 too. I was confused, wondering if I'd skipped a series or two and this was another winged Max. Then I read the cover and title page a few times and realized that it was truly the direction the series has taken. *sigh*
I growl at people who waste electricity in the family, recycle, unplug things not in use, etc, but having that in the book was annoying.
Meh, either works. I capitalize it pretty much subconsciously. Same with 'Sanes', makes it more like a group/title, I suppose, and it draws more attention to the word. So, either or.
XD No worries.
When I first got on, I didn't even touch the forums, I mostly just responded to blog posts, and as a result I learned to mostly navigate NING... that and I was always wrote properly. When I did finally jump onto the forums, I was a full-made Sane.
I started out sane, then gradually turned anti, eventually. I think a lot of us did that, which is probably why we all get along so well. Eh, that, and we're all, you know, sane...
