Pfft. Global warming. I believe in the cause and all, but... they just over did it.
*Likes this idea*.
I would kill for a decent ARG -- I was pissed like no other when the cool documents from SOF were a washout.
When I see an ARG for something I like, I jump all over it. My first one was for Halo 3 in 07, and now I'm working with some people at 2K on the Bioshock 2 ARG. I remember back when they released that human-avian experiment thing, I went nuts and spent a good hour playing around with that tape that was supposedly 'of' Max. I managed to get a picture during a change in lighting and with a few photoshop bits managed to see about 1/3 of 'Max's face. Unfortunately, that wasn't an ARG either...
There was a tape of Max? Omigod.

I managed to wangle some data out of a blurry scan posted on the old blog years and years ago. Sadly, it was apparently nonsense -- and not an ARG, to boot!
Don't you remember? It was a promo for that shoddy face-on birdkid cutout program.
I remember that program (and admittedly tried to use it) but I don't remember a video. Was it posted on MX?
No it was posted on the main site. The one with all the weird slidy drop-down things. I don't even know if that site's around any more.
Ah. Bollocks. That site just goes to MX's front page now. I'll go have a look around the Youtube page.
v.v JP's books are fantastic airplane books -- well, okay, so it varies, but some of his books are awesomely trashy.

And if the Jeb rumors I've heard are true, I'll be paying for a copy of FANG. This would make it the first MR book I've paid money for since STW.
I think they're true. According to a guy on MX who got an advanced reader's copy, that is.
What Jeb Rumors?
He's supposed to be more prominent in FANG.
