That's so pretty! Around the corner from us, the streets all have these massive trees, that completely cover the street, kinda like that, except these are shorter, but bigger. But our sky never gets like that (unless there's like a bushfire somewhere, and then all the smoke blows over the city...)

That's the most open area in my backyard.

Sometimes, yeah. But if you go up into the mountains, just above the smog line, at sunset it's beautiful, the sky gets this really awesome effect and colors.

What's Snow Crash about?

It's a cyberpunk novel that's pretty much about a hacker who has to stop a virus from killing a bunch of people.

Which makes it sound dumb. It's actually fun as hell (and yes, it has robots -- kind of; it has a remarkable portrayal of the Internet and some daemons [intelligent programs]). Go read it, I highly recommend it.
