Never. My mates would never say that. . .
Mmk. I'm arguing with a friend about whether or not it's "normal."

I'll give him, that, it is normal... here. But so is abuse of the phrases "hella chill" and "tiiiiiight." You can't just say them. You have to say them every. Other. Sentence.
Hella is really common here. . . . .like 2-3 times a sentence. It kills me.

We also use 'baller', or at least I hear that one loads. . .. prolly with reason. *is guilty of using 'baller'*
Hella is like, all over the place. But if you abuse it like we do, SoCalians will go all you're-NorCal-so-we're-better on you. But they don't know what they're talking about, they refer to their freeways as "the 5" and "the 101." >.>

XD We don't get that as often. Chill, tight, sweet. We even, admittedly, hear "rad" every once in awhile. Oh, and "hyphy." Always.
XD

We just hear 'hella' and 'chill', as well as other various slang which'll only be big for a few months or something.
Hyphy's huge here, because it was coined by a SF rapper.

And we thought we were SO COOL when Sac was mentioned in this song.

Hella and chill.... I admit, that's like half my vocabulary. We can easily construct an entire thought with "hella," "chill," "like" and "totally" as our only words with any substance.
All the time, for me. My friends, not so much.
For me, not at all. Some of my friends, sarcastically maybe? But not really...
Never.

They use "legit" here.
XD So do we.
Very, very popular among the guys. I don't know why. XD
We say "beast" over here.

It's so funny how slang catches on, isn't it? You hear it the first time and giggle quietly because it sounds so ridiculous-and then, next thing you know it, the whole school's using it.
