But still, all this drama is pissing me off. I don't even understand what we're fighting about.

I'm pissed, but not over the fact that we have drama. I'm pissed because I'm very, very strongly on one side of it.

And I completely understand what we're fighting about. Name dropping, ruining the name and face of the site, ruining the meanings of the titles, using people for power, and burying the history pisses off older members. This was bound to happen eventually -- myself and a few others, have been complaining amongst ourselves for awhile.

I mean, there is always transition. It's not like one generation disappears, and the other takes over immediately. I take that back, that's actually almost accurate...

But we should remember and honor the history of the fandom. The new generation as a whole has seemingly disregarded that, even the "history" from THIS SUMMER. Really, it wasn't that far away. But it's been forgotten, everything that happened, and newer members are taking over without a second thought toward the people who gave it over to them.

MX has a very long, complicated history. The Early MX time, when a lot of Antis ran the show is long. It's long and I'm actually kind of spotty on quite a few things. The Mods didn't come in and spoil the fun until April. Which is still confusing.

Before that is ever harder to remember because so many of the original people there are gone. There's been a site before MX, and I think a site even before that.

Edit @Fishy: But when the older crew just disappeared, they just left they never came back. Right now you guys are still there trying to reinstate some... of the history.

@McFood - Some members have been changing the stories of happenings of old on MX. Letting the history fall away, letting. . .well, letting it go to ruins.

I've been bitching to Fishy, Ranting, Flying, even Pyro about it. I'm glad it came up on MX. . . I kinda want to join in the fun. . .

@Lamp - I've been bitching to you, Ranting, and even Miles and Pyro (though you can just feel their eyes glazing over) for so long. It's been getting on my nerves. I wish I could be there -- I mean, I could grab an alter if I wanted to, but I want to be there as ME.

@Fishy- make an alt, and change the name back to your own sometime when the mods aren't on. It might last long enough for someone to see.

@Contradiction -- For Lamp and I, it's a tad more complicated than that. Putting it lightly, we have more to lose than the others. It wouldn't just be a ban for us, it has the potential to be worse than that. And... the mods seem to enjoy linking us together, so anything I do could also hurt her. >.<'
