The only advice I can give you is to read them first and then decide if you want to own them.

If I had a nickle for every book I bought that wasn't worth it, I'd have...fourteen cents.

Nah, I'm probably just going to spend the money anyway. My allowance'll cover it and still leave me with a bit extra.

There's no possible way for me to get my APHG packet and ginormous freedom drawing done today. Gah. And now I have to go to a baby shower for somebody I don't even know, then go pick up my brother and sister from my dad's house an hour and a half away. I'll be back in... 5 hours at best. AAAGH.
