I always have this huge swarm of turkey vultures circling my house... it's a bit creepy as well...

One morning Mom closed her car door and twenty or more of them flew out of the tree above her. She was a liittle freaked out... XD

You probably live along one of the routes they migrate down.

I love finding their feathers on the ground. I have three, and one is huge. ~~Remember my fail blog on MX, "Flock sighting, maybe?" last summer? XD~~

~~Then my grandma found this other one that's really huge, and I don't know what the hell kind of bird it's from...~~

Yep. I did a lot of stupid things when I was a n00b/fangirl. XD

And now I have all of these feathers, plus a black one from my quill pen that isn't in this pic, ~~but was in that blog...~~

Feathers can carry, uh, feather mites, I guess. But those would be totally harmless to humans.

If it's just a feather chillin' on the ground, it's pretty much safe.

Pigeons used to live in my attic.

Now they live in my roof.

And they don't even pay rent!
