When we get that flying school bus, and go on the huge road trip. . . well, you're leaving me in Turkey for a while, because frankly, no one's going to want to be with me in Turkey, and I'd need several days there . . . ..
Did you know, that to drive without a license in NH, all you need is:
- to be 15 1/2 or older.
- to have an adult over 25 in the passenger's seat who is "teaching" you.
- A birth certificate in the glovebox.
- Not be entirely reckless and stupid.
And you can be driving around as many people as you want.
"Live Free or Die."
In CA we have to....
- Complete a Driver's Ed course, through the school, online or through the DMV are all options
- Pass a test at the DMV for your permit.
- Have an adult over 25 in the passenger's seat until you have your license.
- Have nobody else other than that adult over 25 in the car. No exceptions.
...and if you get caught breaking these rules, you don't get your license till you're 18.
Here, once you get your license, when you're 16, you can drive around anyone over 25, and siblings regardless of age. But you can't drive around, like, friends or anyone under 25 who's not your sibling until you're like 17.
My parents are buying me a car when I'm 16 solely for the reason of making me drive Jimmy to school every day. >.>
XD Why not? Imma have to drive myself to school everyday, and take Jimmy to school and pick him up everyday. Which will suck junior year, because he'll still be in 8th grade and his school is like a 20 minute detour for me...
They don't want me driving? I think they're scared I'd start going to parties, or run away, or something, when in reality, I'd just need a car for going to
school(s), and going to Seattle once every so often for their beyond amazing book stores. :D
