Yesterday I walked around in this really tiny, creepy cemetery in the middle of a really dense forest. It was really cool. :D When I tried to take a pic of one of the graves, though, it was all glowy and weird. This was probably just due to the sun shining on it really brightly and the crappiness of the camera in my phone.

There's a tutorial group on TTS. Just look through the discussions. Ciara's Gimp Tutorials, I think.
Or I could tell you the basics... It's quite simple once you get the hand of it. :D

Brush size:
Hmm... Transparency is the bar RIGHT above it.
To change the brush:

Then you don't have Gimp 2.6. I think.
You need to get Gimp 2.6 for anybody to be able to help you-- everybody has Gimp 2.6, as it's the newest one.
Click on the paintbrush and show me what you've got.
Edit: Oh yeah... you have a Mac, right?
SEE? Another reason to never ever get a mac!!! Even GIMP is complicated for Macs!
