The idea has been had before. Frankly, it'd be doubtful anyone could do anything too unbiased. You'd need to go back to the beginning of the fandom, get several opinions. Finding enough people from the old site to find time to write it would be difficult.

There was a thread where I was starting that. Frankly, from my efforts, I learned that it would probably be best that the people who were actually there wrote the story...I'm completely foggy up to the point that I joined in.

I mean, we have all of these writers here, several of them as old as MX its self. It would just be so epic... I mean, people could illustrate it with screen captures and stuff... *mind goes crazy as it imagines it all*.It could be a series, with one book devoted to every major generation, and different people could collaborate.... It goes beyond MX though. The old MR you'd have to include. Then go into, perhaps, how all slash fics were, basically, disliked there, and the members who posted them outside of their friend groups. I forgot where those fics and such went though. And go from there.

There are loads here from the beginning of MX, but for it to be a /fandom/ thing, it'd have to go further.

I can assist there. Lurked the forums from not-quite-the-very-beginning.

The mods were pretty chill back then. They banned slash because apparently some members didn't like it, or something. No one gave much of a damn though.

o.O Interesting... But it was active for a while... I mean really, really active, but then they deleted it as soon as we stopped replying. Somehow my "Random Artwork" thread is still there and it's hardly got anything there...
