I get food if I'm grounded for more than a day at a time. Usually, she gets pissed in the afternoon after she wakes up from her nap and before she gets a snack. I'm grounded for "until she says so" and when she wakes up with energy and food the next morning it's totally forgotten. I honestly think that's why I have a habit of eating big breakfasts and lunches and am never hungry at dinner time anymore...
No, I think I've only been.... 3 or 4 times. But I have to go tomorrow at like, 8:30 in the morning, to get a filling that I was supposed to get last month. I mean, I'm going to be crying the whole time, because I am afraid of needles (When I was ten and had to go to the hospital it took my mom, the doctor, and 6 nurses to hold me down and start an IV), and I have a very strong gag reflex.
This is going to be fuuuuuuunnnnn..... Especially for the dentist.
>.> I get a checkup every six months, and I've had a shitton of bad teeth repaired as well. I know my dentist way too well.
Ask for gas if they offer it.
And/or -- request that they numb the area with a topical agent before they needle you. (I'm not sure if they always do that, so that's why I'm saying it.) And for God's sake, keep your eyes closed while they're injecting you with anesthetic.
Also, unless your filling is way the hell back on one of your molars, your gag reflex will not come into play. Your ability to keep your mouth open for a long time will.
They'll use a drill to... do magic dentist things before they put in the filling, so bring a music player and ask if you can use it while they're doing your filling, since it will drown out the noise a little.
tl;dr: Yes. I have bad teeth. sperg sperg dentist hurr
Anyway, other than wordswordswords, good luck and... try to relax, I guess.
They probably will if they usually do kids' dentistry. It'd be worth asking.
Seriously, some topical numbing magic makes it suck a lot less.
Yow. Ask for something you can bite down on to keep your mouth open -- they're called bite blocks, and they'll help you keep your mouth open. Also, yeah, tell them your gag reflex is sensitive.
