Protect the flock! From JP and Hachette!

Most of us here have strong friendships with internet people. But I have a few questions:

1. Do your parents know about your internet friends?
2. Have you ever shared any personal information that you probably shouldn't have?
3. Do you ever wonder if they're actually 50 year old pedophiles?
4. Is there anything about them that bothers you?

My answers:
1. Yes.
2. Yes.
3. Yes.
4. They make me jealous a lot.

I posted this under SC because I didn't want to admit #4. Please don't be mad at me.

3. I'm not. I promise. XD
3. XD I was pretty sure you weren't. And if you were you'd probably lie to me about it now it. But, I trust that you're not. And you did actually meet Lamp, and all your RLs on your FB. Also, you're Megan, and I trust you.
1. Heal no. And it's gotten to a point where I can never tell them. You are friends I met at VBS, other Christian camps or theatre shows. Oh, and you're all girls.
2. Eh, I don't really regret it. I've probably broken about a million Internet safety rules though...
3. Not really... To be honest, I never really did. I'm sure it's possible, but you can't fake awesomeness, so whatever age they are, they're some of the now awesome people I've ever met.
4. I feel really inadequate most of the time. You're all just so fucking awesome.
1. No
2. Nothing useful
3. From time to time, but I sincerely doubt it, especially as most of us have posted audio/video/pictures of ourselves.
4. Nothing I can think of.
1. Maybe. I'm not entirely sure...

2. Yes.

3. Yes.

4. No, not really.
1. Yes
2. Not in my opinion.
3. Nope.
4. That they probably know me a bit better than my RL friends. Which is not a bad thing, like I'm shy, but just a bothering fact.
4. You? Shy? o.O
^This. O.O
It's totally cool that you made this, but I feel like there should be a check-in for using the SC account to make a thread.

I feel bossy I don't wanna sound horrible, or possessive or anything, but I can see it being abused or getting out of hand is all.

Anyhoo-
1- Sort of? They know I have them. My mom was watching over my shoulder when I watched Tash's "To Alana" vid on facebook XD
2- Probably
3- Indeed I do!
4- Sometimes I feel really on-edge. I'm pretty much the same on-line as offline, (probably a lot sillier off-line...), and I often feel like someone has been dishonest with me if my impression of them is totally different from how they describe themselves. Like, I don't like people that adopt a completely different persona online just because they can't deal with talking to people IRL.
Re. 4: the internet / fandom helped me become more self-confident and smartassy.
See? That's one thing. But I feel like using it to help you gain self-confidence is different from using the internet to enable you to NOT be self-confident IRL.
Do your parents know about your internet friends?
Yup. About all of them.

Have you ever shared any personal information that you probably shouldn't have?
Definately. More times than I should have.

Do you ever wonder if they're actually 50 year old pedophiles?
I have suspicions but, to be fair, the one that really counted to me turned out to be a 19 year old boy. He's currently my boyfriend.

Is there anything about them that bothers you?
I think I must be a drama beacon. All of my online friends that arent on this site seem to be dramatic and...well, odd.
