It probably depends on the college you go to, but here while you got to make your own schedule, they did it in alphabetical order, and since my last name starts with Y I was one of the last people and got shit for most of it, I had to wait till add/drop week to even register for all the courses I was supposed to be in.
I'm not sure if you'll be comfortable answering this, but how much is the tuition or registration fee for, I was gong to say community college, but I'm sure it's different for them all, or technically almost all since some are probably the same out of random coincidence.
There was no registration fee, and tuition... hmm. Total of about 1100 dollars for the semester, although I did get cheated because one online course makes up about half of that.
He we had I think $130 for registration, than book fees which was something like $250-300. But that was all for this semester, the Spring 2011 will probably have lab equipment fees which will add another 1000 dollars or so onto it all. But compared to what University will probably cost it's nothing.
That will probably be my book fee when I get into less introductory courses. Right now half of them are printed out by the college. And the $80 science one we haven't even used once and the semester is half over. Stupid final sale rules otherwise I'd just return it/
My school starts at 730. It's in the middle of downtown, so there's no parking. It's a half hour away and a 45+ minute bus drive (though I just got a shared parking permit, which'll save a bit of time). I rush out of the house by 620 and get up at 555. >.>
