Would you like me to review it?
If you really want to. I already turned it in, but when I get home I can put up a copy here.
BUT I DON'T WANNA, THEY MAKE ME BAD AT MY ART
I've now got just under two weeks until exams start, having enjoyed a week of half-heartedly sorta-studying.

Now it's time to get SRS BSNS.

I'll still be on here, occasionally. Just don't expect to see much of me 'til the 8th of Nov.
There's no school tomorrow.

Halle-frickin'-luyah.

I'm gonna play Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock for a few hours in my boyfriend's basement tomorrow. Woo.
I miss her :c
*offers tea*
Trying to find/figure out how to make a skirt to go with my Mrs. Lovett costume. D:
Get a floor-length maxi skirt in a dark brown color. Something ruffly.

OK, for the crazy nerd in me, I must say.

The pattern is a Paisley, in a fabric which was probably tan or pinkish at first. It has since been worn day-in, day-out with minimal washing in coal-dusty filthy midcentury London. Now it's a dark dusty brown with only vestiges of the original bright patterning. In addition, it appears to have something of a ruffly bustle pad in the back.

This part is incredibly easy to facsimile. Get another ruffly skirt in the same darkish color range, fold it in half lengthwise, roll the top a bit so it is rounded, and pin or sew it to the back of the other skirt. Ta-da. And make sure it's attached to the other skirt all the way down, otherwise it looks a bit silly.

Anyway. Other than that, get your ruffly floor-length dark brown skirt, and go clean out a basement or something. Get it dirty and dusty.

Aaaand as a final touch, you'll probably want to wear a half-slip at least under it, though one or more petticoats are preferable to create bulk. Your half-slip... if it's possible get one that's red.
I know what I'm looking for... I just don't have the time or money or transportation to find the stuff. :(

Also, I've got like two corset tops to put together for the top, but they're black and red, so I was thinking maybe a black ruffly floor-length skirt... Right now though I only have a kind of poofy knee-length skirt and shitloads of black and not-very-stiff tulle. :/
Plus some lacy black fingerless gloves and awesome lace-up high-heeled boots that look exactly like the ones in the movie...
Basically we're copying the Tim Burton movie costumes. :\ Cody has a black vest, poofy long-sleeved white shirt, and black (possibly pinstriped) pants.
Black ruffly floor length would totally work.

Tulle... hmm...

You can ghetto the tulle into a petticoat so you rustle when you move >.>
Hm... I'm not too great with that though, and it's not very thick... :/ I'm just trying to figure out how to get the skirt floor-length, then I can get the poofiness. What I really need is more fabric or something... I saw a couple of layer-y black velvet long-ish skirts at a store last month that would have been perfect if I got like two, but Mom wouldn't let me get them... Too bad the store is like an hour and a half away.

EDIT- maybe I'll just ask my mom tomorrow if she has any long black skirts I can play with, and if that doesn't work I'll talk to my grandma. She's bound to have something... and if she doesn't she'll help me find it XD
