How am I spending my Haloween? Reading through all of my conservative Christian friends' blogs and statuses and whatnot about how trick-or-treating is satanic and we will all go to hell for it. I would find it all funnier if it didn't depress me so much to be associated with these people.

Original plans for Halloween: Con Halloween for all it was worth. My target was two full garbage bags. Then, high off sugar, Nano till four AM with my friend and be dead Monday.
Plans for Halloween yesterday: Chill at home, curled up, maybe planning for Nano, study for mid-term. Try not to die from cold.
Actual Plans: Sat in a laundromat for a while, sat in Zellers for a looong time, got my graphing calculator, sat in the food court for a while, sat in the car while my siblings went trick or treating for a little while.
Not exactly what I wanted. At all.
Also, my sister's friends are dirty little liars and people here are ridiculously cheap. If they're not only giving away ONE PIECE of candy, they're not giving any out at all. Wth. This place is freaking rich. NS is poor as hell. WHY DID THEY GIVE US SO MUCH? Why, after two hours of trick or treating, do we only have half a bag where as bag in Hali we had gotten at least one full bag. Cheap bastards. >.>

As it turned out, I did get candy for Halloween -- my special orders arrived while I was gone :D
Other than that: just got back from DC. Rally huge. Like. Holy shit.
