I just realized that though I'm not doing NaNo, I still stay on this thread quite a lot as a cheerleader of sorts.

Well, I had my younger brother look through my first draft, and he proclaimed the thing drier than an overcooked turkey.
I expected as much.
So I'm turning it into a comedy. It won't be finished before the end of NaNo, but I'm going to submit the original draft. After all, that was what they wanted.
