Chag Sameh'ach?

It comes with the season. If you can find an excuse to go out and party, why not go for it?
Edit: Whoops. Misunderstood your question, Contra.

Yes and no. We're sort of celebrating it with my grandparents, but not really, and I'm even less Christian than I am Jewish.

Thanks, EndOf, but as a Gentile, and coming from a Gentile family, I don't really deserve it.
Actually, it's really not that good... at all. Murphy's narration is alright - Thomas's and Harry's are much better - and since the plot synopsis for Ghost Story has been released, it really didn't add much...
@Crowley: Chag Sameh'ach translates directly into Happy Holiday, so I could say it to you on Christmas and it would still make sense. At this time of the year, early or not, everyone deserves a holiday. Or two. Or eight. Enjoy it.
Yeah, I know.

Given that my only holiday is basically, "Everybody else is spending lots of money, so why don't we do it as well," though, I still don't think I deserve it.

But Chag Same'ach to you lot as well.

My parents are assholes.

Last few knights of Channukah, I've gotten five pairs of one dollar headphones and a video game I bought.

It's not so much the fact that they gave me all those things as it is that I asked specifically for headphones when they asked me what I wanted.

In short, they're mocking me.
The roleplay I was in was getting kind of slow.

So, I asked the GM if I could start my plot now.

The first and least bloody phase starts with my characters killing 888 innocent people.

>:D

I love being an asshole.
Fuck Obama. These tax cuts make NO GODDAMN SENSE.
Then let me explain to you how governments and economics work.

First, someone down below complains that they don't have the money they want to use to buy stuff. So the government cuts taxes in hopes of making them happy, and getting them to buy stuff. But then they argue that they aren't getting any outside support for their project from the government, so the government creates a program. But programs cost money, so the taxes are raised to compensate. And then the people complain that the taxes are too high. It repeats this way in a vicious cycle.

The only exception is when the government has a program, but doesn't raise the taxes. Then the deficit starts to climb, and people complain about their dollar being weak against foreign products. Or, to counter this, the government tries to raise taxes to counter the deficit without making a new program. Last guy to successfully do this was President Andrew Johnson, who was hated, impeached twice, and kicked out after one term for his troubles.

In short, you're screwed whatever happens.
But doesn't logic have a say? Like, 'these tax cuts for the top 1-2% of the country sure as hell didn't stimulate the economy for the past seven years, so let's work together to find a better solution'.
No, logic doesn't have a say. This is a government representing all the people. Not just the intelligent people.
Texting Cody and waiting for Glee. :D And my birthday is Thursday. :D I wish I could invite all of you to my birthday party on Saturday.
Whoops. Missed the Interact meeting.
