Back to school tomorrow.  Being fifteen (almost) all I can do is attempt to get intoxicated from shitty fanfics.  Yay world.

EDIT:  When's the ARG launch?

If all goes well, ten days from now. But for this to happen, Nathan and I need to get some better coordination going on, with regards to content, posting, story, and so on. All the documents and recordings are done though.
Dude... I thought you were so much older... What is with the overload of undercover young'ns on here?
It's funny how over the summer I was all "if only I had this, this, and this, I would be happy" and now I do and I'm like "WTF, grass? What kinda shit you pullin' here with being greener on the other side now?"

I've never been much of a reader before, so I'm just not realizing how incredibly incompitent the young adult section of our library is. They don't have aaaannnnnyyyyyything.

EDIT: And by anything, I mean anything that doesn't have vampires, werewolves, or makes me feel like I'm reading porn. Not that I'd know what that feels like.

Not that I'd know what that feels like

Ahahaha.

... Well I wouldn't. >.>

EDIT: Actually, I would. I've read Breaking Dawn.
XDD
Seems interesting enough. I have a different opinion on what Freud might say, and for reference sake, are you discussing the movie Bond (by MGM/UA), or the book Bond (series by Ian Flemming)? The two characters have distinct differences.

Keep in mind that the world itself was created by an unreliable narrator (The writer that Cane refers to, not Cane himself. Though Cane is pretty unreliable) and thus there will be discrepencies between our reality and Cane's reality. For instance, Cane's hair is grey, though this hasn't come up yet. You will find no notice of anybody finding this unusual, including Cane himself. Cane is unreliable simply because he has no concept of, "Normal," having been born in a unique world. As far as he knows, Freud never existed in real life. Hell, the only reason he's aware that he's a fictional character at all is because he's noticed his life falling under tropes, and deduced the obvious. Even if he does point out that some things would never happen in real life, that's because he either read non-fiction or because the author (I should give him a name...) contradicted himself at some point.

And it's a referrence to movie-Bond. Keep in mind that the author is probably not a Bond fanatic, and thus all he knows about James Bond is that the man is a badass british secret service agent who has a license to kill and who has probably acquired every STD that's ever existed.

But now he runs into a philosophical problem. How does he know that he is abnormal, and that this is the regular way to live life? After all, a browse though the fiction, or even nonfiction section of a library would yield plenty of stories of outrageous scenarios; that's why they get published.

Also, why is the link dead?

The thing is that he exists in a world that is, despite himself, normal. Even though he himself runs into end-of-the-world conspiracies on a daily basis and half the people he meets are espers, magic users, androids, time travellers, and people who want to kill his ass dead, the rest of the world is normal. It's not like everybody else is just like him, he's the only protagonist. He doesn't, despite all the strange happenings, live in a fantasy or sci-fi world. He doesn't live in the far future or distant past. He just lives in our reality with a few ancient conspiracies thrown in.

And that is because Fictionpress is a bitch that swallowed my story. BRB, trying to necro it.
