I'm entering an Oklahoma writing contest and entering an essay. 

The guidelines for the essay:

"Change somebody's mind about something. Write about controversial topics: current events, art, books, music, etc.. Write an essay from another point of view from most people's way of looking at it. Limit something-or-another words."

I'm writing about gay marriage and why it should be legal in all states. 

I'm not going to win, but who the hell cares about winning?

 

On a completely different topic, what's ARG?

An ARG, or alternate reality game, is where you construct a bunch of media that looks like it's from a story universe, throw it at a fanbase, and intersperse it with puzzles. We're going to throw one at MDW, with new content every day and a puzzle every week until the release of ANGEL. In theory, it will give us a chance to watch the squees and other people on the site scramble around, and then watch people get pissed once JP makes no mention of it in the actual book.

Naturally, don't tell anyone. We aren't going to say who's involved until the end.

Studying French. Very intensely. 

 

I learned that IB for French is way easier than AP. Plus it's far more beneficial for people actually learning French as an additional language. 

 

IB is harder my ass.

Spent the day not being at school and instead trekking across the Rocky Mountain terrain in snowshoes.

 

Whilst being incredibly sore because I fail at physical fitness tests and preparation, and was subjected to that on Tuesday.

 

Better than being at school, though.
