Hans is alive, Total will be at the house or something, Angel is going to be mildly naughty but apologetic, ter Borcht still won't have any lines... and JP will fail to follow through on his teasing for a KILL 'EM ALL AND LET GOD SORT 'EM OUT ending: he's been teasing for three books that the human race is canonically the cause of all Earth's troubles, and someone's gonna try and wipe 'em out.

(If I had to guess, I would guess that someone will try and weaponize Angel, whose new ability will be a kind of psychic EMP bomb which strokes out every human within a certain range.)

I agree with you on most of those.

And a weaponized Angel would be fucking awesome and make my year, but unless Patterson was planning to have Beth counter-mind-control her, I don't see any other way for him to go about it..

Yeah... as cool as it would be, it's basically like saying "and then a full chorus will come out and spackle in all the plot holes, followed by some realistic science involving the early, painful death of the main cast".
