This image basically summarizes Rapture to me:

That's one shot of whiskey, despite the dumbass who tagged it as coffee. (Coffee during the 1950s would have been about a dime for a cup on the surface.)

On the surface at the time that advert was made, a highball glass of the most expensive scotch on the menu would run you a cool dollar and a half.

Goddamn.

Watching the news...our government's about to be shut down because they can't agree on a budget. They're kind of treating it like some sick New Years' countdown..."1 hour and a half before shutdown!"

Have to do a whole project on ecosystem tonight because I just found out we'll be driving the whole rest of the weekend...I think I'm going to base it off the Lion King but I really have no idea what I'm doing and I'm too lazy to try to figure it out...
The government has been shut down before quite a few times. It's not much of a deal, since the old white guys will get their shit in order, I don't doubt, before they have to shut down things like the military.
That's what I've heard...I think at this point it's more just people looking to make a statement or looking for someone to blame while all the rest of us shake our heads and wonder when they'll finally figure things out...but then that's how I perceive a lot of politics.
They figured it out with an hour to spare.

So I saw.

My problems persist...it's like 2:30 in the morning, I finished my movie, and now the damn thing refuses to save properly.

Gah, so my grandmother doesn't have Java on her computer. Every single video-downloading service seems to require it so I've got to wait 10 minutes for the thing to finish downloading...

I know that doesn't sound like a lot but I fear this is just the first of many complications.

I have officially had the BSOD (Blue Screen of Death).

Fuck.

Please don't die on me Shelly. :|

It's not always the end of the world...it happened to me a couple of times and I was able to figure things out...don't listen to me though find a good tech forum somewhere. Hopefully you still have the screen up so you can explain everything on it to them.

Smack once, then restart.

Getting a BSOD doesn't really mean much for the health of your machine. Getting them repeatedly or having the computer die out of the blue several times per day -- that's when you got a problem.

XD -Has never had this happen before despite huge abuse to various computers and laptops-

Regardless, I've found what looks like a good tech forum and I'mma see if they can see what's wrong so I can fix this and no longer have this irritating issue.

There's a 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999(insert googolplex 9s here) that your computer is perfectly fine. BSODs don't mean much.

Restart and you're good to go.
