But, see, I just have ADD, not ADHD. Apparently it's all categorized as the same thing now, but they're totally different. I need something that will wake me up, not a sedative.

That's the idea. Lower the dosage, and the sedative effects go away.

 

But I'd imagine that a sedative is how an ADD med works. The idea is to slow things down, not speed things up.

Haven't finished my homework. Should have been asleep half an hour ago, but had to wash dishes and still have to take a shower.

Mom's having surgery tomorrow morning, to continue my week of hell. She's getting two of the vertebrae in her neck fused together to make it stop pressing on the pinched nerve.

Ugh, I honestly just want to skip school tomorrow, or at least all of it until last block... Just one more day though, then next week is Spring Break, thank God. ._.

EOTE, and others past high school: Junior year for me has been a fuckload of work and stress everywhere. They say fall of Senior year is worse. Should I brace myself? What's worse, second semester of Junior year, or first semester of Senior year? Does it depend on the school? How does the college process work with all this work?

It depends on the school. For me first semester senior year would mean that I wasn't working on my second semester junior paper, SATs, or scuba diving for Earth&Space, so it would have been less stressful for me.

 

The college process doesn't actually work with any of it. You just sort of shoehorn it in whenever you can and apply to as many places as possible.
