The journalism major in my suite, followed by CNN.

When I want a counterpoint, I look up Pravda.

I am very, very lazy.

(Is anyone else having trouble with the CNN livestream?)

There's no truth in the news, nor news in the truth.

As for Osama.... eh, finally.

Well, that was a nice speech.

Clearly off a teleprompter, but still, Mr. President Sir has a very comforting voice.

11.45, time for beds, loljk so much homework.

'Night.  And yeah, he's a good public speaker if nothing else.
Even when it's hard on midnight he still manages a smooth, mellow tone.
Lol, nice way to start the Canadian voting I suppose... I wish our PM had such a lovely voice. He just has a big nose. :/

All in all, Yahoo, I do not believe Osama being dead belongs to the 26+ articles you have of the Royal Wedding. Or the Hottest Spring Colours... Or the dieting salads, but okay.

So, bin Laden is dead, obviously. I feel as though people are celebrating. ...I'm not feeling that vibe at all, really. Meh.

Perhaps it's because yesterday was prom. And there's a couple that went that I don't understand at all... >.>

So my stomach is knotted, it's midnight, and I still have a fucking project. Gods damn it. I just want to curl up and die for a while. Kthanx.

2:40 am: Project completed. My ego is fucking towering. It really shouldn't be, considering that I should've had it done days ago, but damn it, it's still a feat. VICTORY.

Now to sleep.

Watching people celebrate in New York.

I don't get it. A man died. Yes, he was a bad man, no he doesn't deserve to live as such, but men die everyday. We haven't gained anything, someone else has probably already taken his place. And if anything we've given them another rallying point.

And nothing is going to be much different, as his followers will still continue their work as normal.

It's just been a dragging war for us, and I think people are glad for some sort of landmark event.

There's still controversy among us about it.  I mean, I want to wear the colors to school, because I like feeling patriotic, but I don't want to seem extremely in favor of the war.

It's been a dragging war for us, so I can imagine what'd be like from a US point of view. I just see this as being more likely to intensify the fighting than anything else. The only thing that makes it landmark is a sense of vengeance and revenge though.

XD American patriotism is so... amusing. Not bad, just... different. Flags /everywhere/ and all that... You could just be patriotic for a non-military victory day?
