Yeah. I've kept Neosporin and a bandaid on it 24/7, so I don't know what happened. My mom's like, "Just let it breathe, it'll be ok." Um. No mom. Not working.

Add a warm water soaking.Get a basin, fill it up with water that is very warm but not boiling, and let your foot soak in it for about fifteen minutes or more. Mixing in soap might be a good idea too.

It isn't antibiotics, but it helps a little. That's how we treated minor infections up in the mountains.

Banging my head off the desk. Simple project just turned into "raid basement for poster materials" because apparently we're in the fifth fucking grade.

I get the whole "and professional people do poster symposiums" thing, but dude I've seen professional posters and they're not all pretty pictures with text squeezed in as you seem to want.

Despite the fact that I'm nowhere close to being done with my homework, I'm the happiest I've been since show week right now.

God damn, I love them.

I hate research essays. Seriously. One good thing about HS is the severe lack of these.
Lack? I had to do one every year! Although, I'd take it over every semester...
I have done one every year since 8th grade. :(
We're talking about 15-page nine-source things, right?

Not quite. 5(8th grade) and 10-page (the rest of the years since then) papers with 5-7 minimum sources (You'll probably need multiple primary sources, so I don't know anyone who has used less than 11 on any term paper). Of course some people go over every year, but teachers get annoyed if they have to read too many pages, so it's best to not risk it.

15 pages...what kind of school, did you go to?

One where the teachers go "lolz, what's high school? We're here to prepare you for college, so college level it is!"

And so began the papers, and giant tests with SAT prep in mind. Funny thing is, this is a public school.

So. Everyone told me I kicked ass at the Hairspray audition, yet I don't have a part.

I have been waiting three freaking months for this show.

And apparently it's partly because Bess want to give Mom a break since she's been working so hard for the theater lately.

Mom's involvement has nothing to do with me. I wanted that part.

Ouch. :\ That sucks.

Are you still going to work on the show?
