In fourth grade I watched 13 Ghosts and read Dracula. That was the end of all scary movies for me. And I rarely read scary books now unless they contain vampires.

Dracula wasn't really scary, and I've regularly read Stephen King before bed (Dreamcatcher was the only book that ever, ever gave me nightmares -- well, it gave me trippy half-dreams that were scary as hell).

Creepy story threads just scare the piss out of me :C
