I have one question.
IN the back of certain copies of TAE, there's pictures of like, the Institute for Aeronomics or something. (From Fang's old blog) does anyone want to see if I can find that/get a picture of that picture or something?

ARGs are always done by marketing companies. We're making history by being one of the first fan-created alternate reality games. I'm arguing it based on me being me...which is to say engaged, but skeptical.

True, true, true... I suppose it's in character. But the links to other ARGs, references... It's making it less and less "real" for people, it's becoming more "What will Hachette post next" versus "what mystifying thingy can we speculate about next". Y'know? Just toning it down would be cool. But hey, it's mainly your thing, so I'm just offering my input.

It's sort of like speculating about the books. You know that the books are fiction, and that they will follow JP's pattern. Remember, real or not, we're being told a story, and that's where the reward is.
Besides, we don't want people calling the police to dig up Elena's IP at the end of the series.
Anyway, I suppose you're right in that I'm treating it less like a story and more like a project. I'll work towards moving away from that.

I agree - stop saying it's an ARG. Most people don't know what one is. Or didn't. Now they do know. And now it's a viable option for 'WTF is this?'.
