Playing Solitaire. And not winning. >.>' Meh.
*has a new favorite quote to learn*

"Nothing feebler than a man does the earth raise up, of all the things which breathe and move on the earth, for he believes that he will never suffer evil in the future, as long as the gods give him success and he flourishes in his strength; but when the blessed gods bring sorrows too to pass, even these he bears, against his will, with steadfast spirit, for the thoughts of earthly men are like the day which the father of gods and men brings upon them."
Where's that quote from? It's awesome.
The Odyssey, by Homer.
Homer was Greek right...*goes to Wiki*
XD

Yes.
^^' We learned about him last year, and I don't remember any of it...*sigh* Maybe I should've paid a bit more attention.
That was my favourite thing about English last year.
Greek Mythology and we read like 10 pages out of the Odyssey.

This year we should be reading Antigone, or something of the like. Are we? No.
*loves Antigone beyond belief*
....You only read 10 pages out of it? We read the whole thing in 7th grade. And the Illiad. And the Aeneid. *was the nerd that didn't hate them*
Hold it.

You actually get to read those in English?!
At my old school, yeah. Depending on the class, anyway. All the teachers loved my class/we were good students (I know what you're thinking. Shut up.) so we got to read them. ^.^
Yeah....

Well there go my hopes to nerd out. >.>

My classes suck, and I doubt in HS we'll do anything Greek mythology related, maybe in History if I get really lucky.
