OK, having not heard beyond chapter... 17? I've found myself with several questions thoughts and guesses.
Such as:
-Gunther-Hagen works for a lot of companies. You don't trust companies in books. Ever. Either he's on a talking level with Chu, or he's running the whole thing.
-It seems like Dr. G-H has invented a retrovirus that does the whole healing-thing, similar to the type I mentions in Genetic Engineering 101. However his explanation noted that it has several issues; it seems to me that it only works off of stable genes. The flock is not genetically stable, they take that stuff, they're down.
-"Clones are robotic and clunky" Odd, Max II worked well enough.
-"8 Months old" which makes me wonder, can't it be possible that the same thing happened with Max or others in her flock? The details of their pasts are indeed arguable... it's entirely possible that Max is in fact five or six.
(And don't get me started about the ramifications of this)
-Italy-Ireland-New York? Africa to Italy I can see. Italy to Ireland I can see. Both of these are comparable distances to what they've flown before. But Ireland to New York? Unless they went by way of Iceland, Greenland, and Canada, I don't see it.
-Frankly, Max reminds me of some of the people I've RP'ed with, doing everything in her power to avoid the plot.
In short, the whole thing is thought provoking, but I haven't really seen any twists yet.

Bad Global Warming! Bad! We're not scheduled to become a beach paradise for another thirty years!
Here is better with them. >.> Snow days in Regina? Lolwut? No... just no.
Halifax apparently is stupid. Bridgewater (which is like an hour away) had almost a month's worth of snow days last year. To think I thought seven was OMG worthy. >.>
We get Monday off because it's an assessment day or something or other. Maybe we sync with America's school days, but just lie and make some fancy pants title for it.
They had a month of snow days? Wow. We've had four so far. o.o
:D Hurray for fancy pants titles. Is an assessment day the same as an inservice, where teachers go to school and do work while kids sit at home? And it counts as a school day?
