Getting started on another novel... My ear hurts too badly to do anything else productive.

God dammit, our house is new, so why the hell did you make me WASH the porch?
My parents are delusional. I swear. My house doesn't even have straight walls so why the hell are we trying so hard to make it look nice? I mean keeping it sanitary is fine but really? We're by no stretch of imagination going to have a pretty house.
I mean come on, we don't even have a front yard.
