Trying to read The Wings Of Wrath, instead seduced by the much, much sexier Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell.

Something must be wrong here -- this is the fifth time (or somesuch) I've tried to read that damn fic, and once again I find myself... unenthusiastic.

Truth be told... I read badfic recreationally, and TWOW is just unreadably bad :| It's. So. Dull.

Considering that the book that I'm reading instead is 800 pages long, written in a Victorian style, and has fucking footnotes...
