A project to recreate Itex-era documents showing the rise of Itex as a company, and the creation of the Maximum Ride characters. Initial discussion on "What are you doing" thread starts HERE.
The story will chronicle Elena Mueller (known by her internet alias "Valentine") after her return from a trip to Germany, and the discovery of the various Itexicon files.
(I'll start updating this OP over the weekend to start compiling the files)
One thing though, the quality of the recording makes it sound bizarrely clear in the face of the static. Is there a filter you could put on it to make the speech parts sound like it's being played out of a recorder, and into a microphone? For reference, I've attached a similar recording from Bioshock. I'm not sure if the recording 'buzz' still occurred that much in 80s era playback devices, but I thought I should call it to your attention. If you can't do this, I can copy your recording to my digital voice recorder, and play it back into my computer microphone.
It will have to wait until later (possibly even later this week) though, my recorder is out of AAA batteries, and the last thing I need is my roommate looking at me funny.
In the meantime, we have
-A recording
-A FBI letter
-An anatomical picture and note.
What next?
Since your written German is better than mine, could you work on that letter from Herr. Nazi to Janssen? In the meantime, I can work on that letter from Anne to Janssen, regarding James Patterson that was mentioned earlier.
- There is a facility in Colorado only in When The Wind Blows and The Lake House.
- In the Maximum Ride young adult series, the School proper is located near the California / Nevada border, in Death Valley eight miles north of the Badwater Basin. The flock live in Colorado.
XP Damn, I need to get my series straight, then again, this is coming from a person who can't travel more than four blocks without a map.
Badwater Basin...so if it is near the border, would that put it in the Nevada side or the California side? My Google Map check puts it as barely on the California side... I'll go with that. Anything else to add while I'm revising?
I believe it's just over the Nevada side last time I checked (mind you, this was a while back on an older atlas). However, I prefer to put it on the California side because frankly, I think it's cooler.
Other than that, I got nothing. I'm in the midst of drafting the Nazi letter as it is. Slow work, my German is worse than I thought. Thank God for dictionaries.
